I paid and the written test is still locked
Open the written test and tap Restore purchase. That asks Apple whether this Apple Account has bought it, and unlocks it if so. It works on a new iPhone too — the purchase belongs to your Apple Account, not to the phone.
If it still doesn't unlock, check that you are signed in with the same Apple Account you paid with, and write to us.
I think an answer is wrong
Tell us the code shown under the answer — MUTCD §2C.11 · sign
W1-13 or 49 CFR §395.3. That points straight at the source
we used, and lets us check it in minutes.
This matters more than usual here: every answer in the app is tied to a published federal section. If ours disagrees with the source, ours is wrong and we will fix it.
A sign has no drawing
A few signs show Drawing not available. Those are signs we could not find a freely licensed drawing for, and we would rather show that plainly than draw an approximation of an official sign. They are still in the list; they are just missing the picture.
Does this cover the whole CDL test?
No, and we would rather say so here than have you find out at the DMV. Your state gives the test from your state's manual. This app covers the road signs and the federal rules behind them. The maneuvers and the air brake endorsement are not covered.
Why does it cost anything, when the source is public?
The regulations are public; reading a thousand pages of them is not the same as studying. Each written question was written by hand and checked against the exact wording of its section. The signs stay free.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds go through Apple, not through us: reportaproblem.apple.com. We never see your payment details, so it's the only way.
